CCR – Chest Compressions only

Cardio-Cerebral Resuscitation (CCR) is showing promise for victims of Cardiac Arrest. Compressions keep circulation (and therefore blood flow and oxygen) to the brain increasing the chance that the victim will survive a cardiac event. Passive air movement as you press, then release the chest is enough oxygen for the person to survive. Studies in AZ showed a 65% survival for victims of cardiac arrest.

Western Pennsylvania Fallen Riders teaches American Heart Association CPR & First Aid for your unique work or personal situation. We specialize in custom, personal instruction geared toward your convenience and your needs.

Important NOTICE: October 3 the AHA announced a large price increase on the price of certification cards. As a result, a $25.00 materials fee has been added to all Heartsaver AED and Heartsaver AED First Aid classes.

A number of different classes and prices are available depending on your needs

Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) $75-$125.00 + $25.00 materials fee

Certification for the healthcare professional. Includes Adult, Child, and Infant CPR with advanced skills.
3.5 Hours

Heartsaver AED Adult (HSA) $30.00 – $75.00 + $25.00 materials fee

Adult CPR certification. Perfect for those who work with adults only or require AED certification.
2.5 Hours

Heartsaver AED Peds (HSP) $65.00 – $85.00 + $25.00 materials fee

Pediatric CPR certification for Infant through puberty. Perfect for Daycare providers.
3 Hours

Heartsaver AED First Aid (HSFA – Adult or Peds) $75.00 – $125.00 _ $25.00 materials fee

Choose Adult or Pediatric focus. CPR is included with basic first aid from controlling bleeding to handling a diabetic crisis. Includes certification. Environmental emergencies adds additional cost and time. if you already have CPR and just need to add first aid, call for consultation.
5-6 Hours

CPR for Friends & Family (F&F) $30.00 -$50.00 – no materials fee

Choose Adult Only, Infant Only, or Adult & Peds. Not a certification course. Students will practice on manikins but this class has no testing.
1.5 Hours for adult/child. Add 45 minutes for Infant

CPR Renewals $50/hour – $10 materials fee for BLS and $25 materials fee for Heartsaver

Renewals made easy! To be placed on our free CPR renewal notification list, call or

e-mail your name, address, type of CPR and expiration date. Two months prior to your card expiring you will receive a note from WPAFRF to renew.

1.0 – 1.5 Hours

Note – all WPAFRF CPR classes include relieving a foreign body airway obstruction (Heimlich) and use of the AED (Automatic External Defibrillator)

For OSHA BloodBorne Pathogens certification, add 1 hour and $10/student

Credit Card

Class charge: An authorization will be placed on your credit card for your class. The class charge will not occur until the class occurs or in the event that you do not show up for the class. Larger classes for offices or organizations are exempt from CC authorization hold.

Individual CPR renewals are scheduled at a time that is mutually convenient for the student and instructor. Call 724.672.0134 for an appointment.

To schedule a renewal:

Name, Address & e-mail – a confirmation of the class and CPR study information will be sent to you
Date & Time you would like to renew (we will find a mutually convenient time)
Date your CPR card expires

Note: There is a minimum charge of $125.00 for full (not renewal) CPR which includes class materials and certification card if you want INDIVIDUAL CPR certification. You can come to my location in Blairsville PA or I will travel to your location. Mileage of $.50/mile will be assessed for traveling to your location. Westmoreland, Indiana Allegheny. Cambria Blair and Armstrong.Counties only.
